If you were to paint a picture of Elder Wei, he would be lean and tall, with eyes that squint when he smiles, and a very gentle voice.   People can often spot him on Sunday's by the podium, in a Sunday School classroom, or with the short-term mission team.

Elder Wei was born in Taiwan.   In 1979 he attended Southern Methodist University to get his graduate degree in Texas.   It was then when he attended fellowships and came to know Jesus.   When he graduated in 1980, he came to San Jose to look for a job but he failed to find work.   Because of his failures, he came to realize he was helpless and learned how to depend on God.   Through prayer he experienced the peace of God and His many blessings.   By December 1980, he was baptized.
