Elder Tang was born in Taiwan. He came to California as a graduate student in 1977. As a student, he was first approached by Campus Crusade and then attended Chinese for Christ Church of Berkeley where he was baptized.

After graduation in 1983, Elder Tang began working at south bay and came to Chinese for Christ Church of San Jose. In the same year, Wan-I moved from southern California to here. Without knowing each other, they met at church in one of the earliest small groups: South 1. They were married in 1986 and now have two children: Albert and Evelyn.

Electronics was Yaw-Shing's hobby when he was a child. It is now his career. Natually, he enjoys a significant part of his work. He also likes to read and think, especially in science. Since becoming a Christian, he has found a new area, the Word of God, to explore and enjoy.
